“Amazing !!!!!! We did the full day tour which was from 9am-4pm and they collected and dropped you off at your hotel . Miguel was our tour guide and he was amazing , so funny and knowledgeable and he really helped make it a great experience .Packed with activities , from castle viewing , honey tasting , alcohol tasting and lunch etc. It was truly a great day full of activities . It was fun & educational with some thrill due to a lot of the ride being up in the Rocky Mountain . You get to stop off at some amazing places GREAT TRIP, GREAT STAFF SO MONEY WELL SPENT ! X”

“Fantastic way to see the country this was the most fantastic way to spend the day seeing parts of portugal off limits to those without a car. Miguel (holland) made the day great with his personality and knowledge, stopping, picking leaves or bits of plants and telling us what they were. His passion for the outdoors showed. Great views, company and the view from the winery was unbelievable along with the red wine - tops at only 5euros a bottle. A serious contender on the to do list for anyone.”

“Perfect way to see the beautiful countryside A wonderful day exploring the beautiful countryside. We learnt about the flora and fauna, visited farms, sampled honey and local drinks. We had excellent lunch in a little restaurante in Alte. Dora and Gil our drivers were excellent, professional, well informed and were lovely people. I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature and wants to see the real Algarve.”

“mazing tour - worth every penny!! We booked this tour on the spur of the moment, and we’re glad we did! Our guide and driver, Gil, picked us up at our hotel at exactly the time arranged, and after a couple of brief stops to pick up some more people we were off and running. Very safety conscious, Gil always made sure our seat belts were done up (apparently some other companies don’t always do this...), and we needed them as once we were off-Road the jeep bounced around a fair bit (hey, it’s advertised as a “Safari”, so we were expecting this and we weren’t disappointed - fantastic!). First stop was at a farm in the hills where we tasted the locally distilled “fire water” (about 44 proof alcohol - you really feel it going down...) - two different types, one straight (ouch..) and one with added honey which was much sweeter. Also tried the home produced honey which was delicious (bought a jar to take home). Next stop was at a waterfall where we had a chance to swim in a very nice looking pool - Gil told us that the water was warm - and one of our group believed him and went in. He lied - the water was very cold, but she still had a short swim! Further into the hills (the 4X4 drive was definitely needed - VERY steep tracks...), and Gil explained how the cork industry worked regarding the ways in which it’s harvested from the trees - very interesting, and explains why the trees have numbers painted on them. We then had a brief stop at a fountain before carrying on to our lunch stop where we had a very nice meal, before carrying on to a fort at Paderne - the building itself was closed, but there were incredible views. After this we went on to meet some very friendly donkeys who were extremely pleased to see us as they’re used to being hand-fed by visiting tourists!! The weather all day was fantastic, and at the end of the tour Gil dropped us back at our hotel - we’d had an incredible day, and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see parts of the Algarve that are most definitely “off the beaten track”!! “Best Tour Ever! This I have to say has been the best tour ever, and the tour guide Til was brilliant, very knowledgeable, and really welcoming and friendly. I did this tour will and met some lovely people on the tour, so any solo travellers definitely give this a go it will be well worth your while. Initially I signed up for the half say tour, but I enjoyed it so much I ended up doing the full day tour. In the morning we drove through Albuferia and Aite old town, seeing some lovely farms along the way, we stopped of at various points to pick some great fresh herbs, wild lavender, fresh oranges (even managed to get a lemon to) and visiting a distillery with a very cute and hungry dog and a cork tree farm too(I definitely recommend hugging the trees there for some healing earth love), and then onto a lovely waterfall. At lunch time we stopped of at paradise restaurant in a lovely quite out of the way area just what was needed. The meal was fabulous real authentic Portuguese cuisine cook a with a hint of love. After lunch we visited an old ruin castle (which is only open for inside viewing on Wednesday but still worth the trip. On the way back saw a lovely family of donkeys we got to feed and then a nice scenic journey back to vilamoura for me. All in all an amazing experience with a great company who are flexible and amenable and very professional loved it all the way. Thanks so much Til and thanks Zebra Safari Tours will definitely have another tour with you guys when I return in October 😊”

“Amazing ! me and my mum went on the full day zebra safari tour and wow it was worth it ! Unfortunately I fell ill a couple of days before the tour when it was originally booked but the booking agent at Eden resort and zebra safari tour where amazing and re booked it for a couple of days after at no extra cost! I want to say a huge thank you to Miguel our tour guide for the day who was so knowledgable of the area and so helpful on the day. I didn’t feel to good as we left of and he offered me some sickness tablets and assured me if we needed to stop at any point it would be no problem! So for anyone that may get travel sick do not worry or hesitate about going on this trip you won’t regret going! The food at the restaurant was great aswell ! I honestly could not recommend this trip anymore. I would go into the details of the trip but I’m sure others already have but I will post some of the amazing photos we got on this tour below! Huge thank you again to Miguel and Gil for a great trip with a great Tour guide we will return to Portugal and won’t hesitate to do this tour again!”

“Great Time on the Full Day Jeep Safari Tour We had a wonderful full day tour with Gil. Five of us hit the backroads for a full day exploration through countrysides. We loved our visit to Alte for morning coffee and marvellous pasty treats, the waterfall, the windmill, the orange trees, and the liquor tastings. We had a wonderful lunch (included in the price) in a lovely restaurant where the staff was attentive and the wine was plentiful. Gil was fun and knowledgeable. Thank you for such a fun day! We returned with big smiles on our faces!”

“Fantastic safari tour 9am pick up 4pm drop off back to hotel we had Miguel if you get the chance to do this you need Miguel all other drivers are lovely but Miguel made our trip for us we went in the lead car and visited a coffee and homemadecake shop in the hills a waterfall a lovely restaurant the highest point in the algarve. We stopped off at various locations for photos and local history Miguel was very knowledgeable and brought many items into the vehicle for us to sample we did the medrohno tasting with honey and nuts and sampled bee pollen at an old farm owned by a lovely elderly couple who still manage the farm daily Miguel rallied round the hills off road reminding us we paid for jeep safari not taxi tour drifting in the Portuguese hills at speed was amazing excellent driver fantastic humour very well versed in English and overall a great laugh very funny tour guide the company is amazing the staff are ace MIGUEL is a legend hats off to him well worth doing as a family or couple hold on tight and prepare to be wowed by the views and driving experience inches from the cliff edges.”

“Fantastic, highly recommended Absolutely fantastic day out, it’s the perfect way to see to real Algarve with a highly knowledgable driver (Miguel) he was full of information about the local history, flora and fauna. The stops were lovely, and the waterfall was fantastic, so don’t forget your trunks and towel, note it is fresh hill water so there might be a slight chill. My wife, myself and my son loved this trip, we upgraded from half a day to a whole day and we cannot recommend it enough, lunch was lovely. Plenty of opportunity to take in the real views of the Algarve from some glorious and stunning hill top points. Miguel made the trip, with his interaction with the adults and the children. A brilliant day out, from hotel door to hotel door.”
